The surgical placement of the implants typically takes a single appointment. Fixed provisional teeth are generally fitted within 24–48 hours of the procedure. Final permanent prosthetics are usually completed within approximately 12 weeks following healing.

Treatment times vary between individuals depending on bone quality, healing response, and case complexity. Your assessment and treatment plan will outline expected timelines specific to your situation.

The All-on-X technique was specifically designed to make the most of available bone, often allowing implants to be placed in patients who would otherwise need extensive grafting. Whether grafting is needed in your specific case is determined by your 3D CBCT scan and clinical assessment.

If grafting is required, the cost is disclosed in your written treatment plan before you proceed.

There’s no upper age limit for dental implants. Candidacy is determined by overall health, bone quality, and ability to undergo a surgical procedure — not age alone. Many of our All-on-X patients are in their 60s, 70s, and beyond.

Your suitability is assessed during your complimentary consultation. A registered dental practitioner will review your medical history and discuss any factors that may be relevant to your treatment.

Most patients return to light daily activities within a few days of surgery, with some swelling and discomfort that’s typically managed with prescribed medication. A soft-food diet is generally followed for the first several weeks while initial healing occurs.

Implants are not all equal. The implant system we use is from the Straumann Group — one of the largest and most clinically-researched implant manufacturers in the world, with decades of peer-reviewed data behind it and a manufacturer warranty programme. The implant body itself is a long-term investment, and the research and warranty backing reflect the quality of the system.

Cheaper systems exist, but the cost difference of the implant body is a small fraction of the total treatment cost — and the long-term reliability of the implant matters far more.

Successful osseointegration (where the implant fuses with the jawbone) occurs in the large majority of cases, but no implant procedure can guarantee success in every individual. Under our 12-Month Integration Promise, if an implant we place fails to successfully integrate within 12 months of placement, we replace the implant and surgical placement at no additional charge.

Dental anxiety is something we take seriously.
